MANILA (AdChoiceTV News) — Due to the continuous surge of covid-19 in the country, and putting Metro Manila in GCQ classification with strict restrictions. The MMDA decided to still suspend the number coding scheme for the last week of June 2021.
This suspension will cover June 28 to July 2, 2021 in the entire region of NCR, Calabarzon and nearby provinces.

Meanwhile, The City of Makati will implement its own coding scheme despite of the MMDA’s suspension.
In Makati City, Coding vehicles can enter the city if there are at least 2 passenger inside the vehicle, this includes the driver. But, if you are alone inside your car then you are not allowed to enter the City on your coding day. You will certainly be apprehended by the Makati Traffic Enforcers.
Truck Ban is strictly implemented during this times in all major roads.
Over the past days, the cases of the Covid-19 in the Philippines remain at 6,000 plus per day which despite of the efforts in the Government Vaccination Program.
As of writing, the Philippines already vaccinated 2.6% of its population. Way farther from the target Herd Immunity on December 2021.
The Philippines has a total of 1,397,992 cases since the pandemic started last year. 52,570 of these are active while 1,312,050 recovered from the Sars-Cov-2. The total death reached 24,372.
