March 22 — March 26, 2021 Coding Update

AdChoiceTV News — The Number Coding Scheme in Metro Manila and Calabarzon for the Fourth Week of March 2021 is still suspended as per MMDA.

Meanwhile, Makati City will still implement coding scheme but with certain exemptions. Meaning if you are travelling alone, you can’t use your car on your number coding day but if you are travelling with someone or more then you are exempted from the coding scheme.

We encourage everyone to wear their face mask properly and don’t forget to bring face shield as some malls and establishment are requiring their customers to wear face shield.

In 5 consecutive days, covid-19 cases surge in the Philippines as OCTA Research predicted. This caused the Government to implement a more strict GCQ in NCR and CALABARZON as the Top 10 with highest number covid-19 cases are in both regions.

Active Covid-19 case in the Philippines rose to 73,072 as of March 21 making the Confirmed cases rise to 663,794 with 12,968 death.

Effective 12:00 am of March 22, 2021 the Government will enforced new rules and regulations to make an effort to stop the surge of covid-19 in the country.

Common Curfew, Travel Restrictions, Other Strictee Measures will be imposed to NCR, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal Province. Which means those who have plans to go out on the mentioned Cities, Halt your plans as you cannot travel under the new restrictions enforced by the Government.

Under Resolution No. 104 by the IATF approved by President Duterte the four provinces used to be under the most lenient modified GCQ or MGCQ where almost all industries can operate and up to half of the venues of public gatherings can be filled up. Only about half of the industries can operate and mass gatherings are restricted.

Non-essential travel cannot pass the checkpoint. This will help curb the covid-19 cases said Duterte. And strict implementation of Curfew from 10pm to 5am must be adhered.

Only essential travel into and out of the mentioned areas will be allowed. Public transportation will continue to operate but at capacities set by the transportation department.

We strongly encourage everyone to please stay at home if your trip is not that important. Food establishments will also be limited only to delivery, take-out and outdoor dining provided that additional measures are in place such as dividers to limit the number of persons per table to two.

Operationals capacities of essential and non-essential services will also stay, but IATF is urging the private sector to roll out alternative work arrangement anew.

However workers, cargo vehicles and mass transportation will not be restricted by the curfews. The task force also discouraged people visiting persons outside their immediate families, and “strongly advised” the wearing of face masks at home.
