The reduced rate is available for passengers with Cebu Pacific and Cebgo bookings
Passengers with Cebu Pacific and Cebgo bookings now have access to swab tests for a reduced rate of P2,500, with a 48-hour turnaround period.
Cebu Pacific said on Tuesday, June 15, that its accredited partners Health Metrics Incorporated (HMI) and Safeguard DNA Diagnostics Incorporated (SDDI) are now offering a special rate.
The rate for swab tests with a 24-hour turnaround period was also reduced to P3,200.
“As we remain committed to providing affordable flights for every Juan, we also made it a point to see where else we can reduce costs for our passengers – we are happy to work with our laboratory partners to make available the cheapest RT-PCR swab test rates that may conveniently be booked on our website,” said Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and customer experience.
HMI has clinics in the cities of Pasay and Makati, while SDDI has facilities in Mandaluyong, Bacolod, and Davao.
Earlier, Cebu Pacific announced that its passengers have access to swab test options worth P3,300, through HMI, SDDI, and Philippine Airport Diagnostic Laboratory (PADL). Swab results from these facilities were released a day after the test.
PADL is still offering the same rate of P3,300 for a swab test, while a rapid antigen test is priced at P700.
The Test Before Boarding facility at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 is also accepting walk-ins, with fees to be paid directly to PADL.
