Filipino-Chinese Hong Kong based businessman’s Instagram account hacked

Hong Kong (AdChoiceTV News) — Robert Chan a Filipino-Chinese Businessman based in Hong Kong recently revealed that his Instagram account has been hacked.

The businessman made the announcement on his twitter on June 7. “My Instagram has been hacked,” he simply wrote.

Chan did not disclose any more details on the hacking incident.

Seems like his account is still active on instragram and some photos has been deleted since his former Instagram handle, @coffeepundits now leads to an economic page that has been on the social media site since 2015.

Recently, Chan has caught the attention of eagle-eyed netizens after he criticized China for bullying Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Robert Chan is the Chairman of Chan Tayag Southeast Equities with several subsidiaries in Asia Pacific and North America. Their head office is located at the 19th floor of International Finance Centre in Finance Street Central Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is currently on a crackdown on all its citizen and resident for criticizing Mainland. Recently the Media Tycoon Jimmy Lai has been detained for fraud and was ordered back to jail.

China is trying to get back the control of Hong Kong after the Great Britain exit.

UK has been offering Hong Kong citizen and resident a permanent residency in United Kingdom to leave Hong Kong for safety.
